Special Issue on Project Management and Scheduling

The EURO Working Group on Project Management and Scheduling (WG-PMS) provides an excellent opportunity to discuss recent and important issues in the field of project management (project planning, project scheduling, project control), and machine scheduling (single and parallel processor problems, flow shops, open shops, job shops, etc.). For this special issue, we are seeking the best available new research in these areas in order to provide a valuable resource for scholars and practitioners striving to leverage techniques and knowledge to improve project management and scheduling.

Papers should employ a rigorous research methodology, including operations research and empirical research and should have relevance and practicable implications. Submitted papers should not have been previously published nor be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. |
Submission Guidelines
All papers are refereed through a double blind process. A guide for authors, sample copies and other relevant information for submitting papers are available on the EJIE paper submission webpage. To submit a paper, please go to Submissions of Papers. The target print publication date is the end of 2017. All papers are refereed through a double blind process according to the standards of the European Journal of Industrial Engineering. We will adopt a rapid and fair review process in order to meet the target publication date. For your information: the most recent (2014) impact factor of EJIE is 0.736.
