Nestlé Young Scientist Awards

FOP 2020 is pleased to announce the 2020 Nestlé Young Scientist Awards to recognize excellence of scientists in the early stage of their careers in food science and engineering.
The purpose of the awards is to stimulate researchers for excellent contributions to food science and engineering with a demonstrated potential for translation into innovative products & services in the food industry.
Candidates must be in their early stage of scientific careers. This means at the time of FOP 2020 candidates must be enrolled as students in good standing in a PhD program in the field of food science and engineering in any university worldwide or must have obtained their PhD degree in the field of food science and engineering not longer than three years ago.
Awardees will be selected amongst those attendees delivering an oral presentation during the FOP 2020 by the scientific committee of the conference and a Nestlé representative. There will be in total 2 awards each worth 1000 EUR*. Awards will be granted during the conference by a Nestlé representative.
FOP 2020 and Nestlé shall have full discretion to select award recipients or to withhold any award in case no application fulfills the requirements. With submission of the application, the applicant accepts these conditions.
