Guidelines for extended abstracts

Extended abstracts should be between 1,000 and 2,000 words long (excluding references and appendices, but including tables and figures).

Please submit Word files, not Pdfs.

Guidelines for full papers

If you want your paper to be considered in the special issue of the International Journal of Retail & Distribution Management, you should submit a full paper. Please follow the guidelines of the International Journal of Retail & Distribution Management

In both cases - extended abstracts and full papers-  you need to provide a brief summary (max. 250 words) when submitting your paper. Those will be printed and handed out to attendants.

You will also be asked to select one of the following tracks for your paper:

  • Digitalisation in Retailing
  • Multi-/Omni-Channel Marketing and Operations
  • Shopper/Consumer Behaviour and Marketing
  • Retail Strategy and Management
  • Servicescape and Atmospherics
  • Operations and In-Store Logistics Management
  • Supply Chain Management
  • International/Global Retailing
  • Methodologies in Retail Research and Teaching
