CERR 2020 is hosted by the Department of Marketing (Faculty of Economics) at the University of Valencia. The colloquium chair is Dr. Marta Frasquet. The conference venue will be the Faculty of Economics.  

The Department of Marketing is one of the key assets of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Valencia, both in teaching and research terms. It integrates more than 50 members, 30 of which full time. The Department runs courses at undergraduate degrees such as International Business, Tourism, and at masters such as MBA and International MBA. It manages a Master in Marketing and a PhD in Marketing, which have the Excellence award of the Spanish Ministry of Education. The Department is strongly research oriented; the main areas of research are: consumer behavior, retailing, logistics, services marketing, and communication.

The University of Valencia has more than 500 years of history. The accumulated knowledge and talent have positioned it as one of the top Spanish Universities in international rankings.

Nowadays is a modern international university hosting around 60,000 students in three different campuses, 18 centres and 92 academic departments.

The Faculty of Economics at the University of Valencia was born in 1966. Now it hosts more than 8,000 students who can study in three languages: Spanish, English or Valencian. The Faculty offers 8 different undergraduate programmes and several postgraduate programs, some of which are international double degrees. Students can participate in Erasmus and International Exchange Programmes at more than 150 host institutions.

Location and situation Conference Venue (Faculty of Economics)

The Faculty of Economics is on Tarongers Campus. It is the most recent campus of the University, built around the Ramon Llull and Tarongers avenues on the north-east side of the city of Valencia.

The venue is well connected by public transport to the town center and other areas of Valencia.

Opposite the Faculty's main entrance you find the tram line that can take you to the beach in only three stops. It also connects the Faculty to the city center. On Ramon Llull Street there are a wide number of bus routes that can take you to the city center, too.
There is also an entrance to a free public parking lot on Ramon Llull Street, next to the campus.

From the city

By public transport:

By car:
Come from the east by Serrería and Tarongers avenue. Come from the south by Catalunya avenue. Come from the west by Ronda Nord and come from the North by Highway Barcelona  AP7. If you come from the city center, the Faculty can be accessed by Aragon avenue towards Blasco Ibañez and then turn left to Ramon Llull street. There is an entrance to a free public parking lot on Ramon Llull Street, next to the campus. 

By Taxi:
You could take a taxi from everywhere in Valencia. You just need to point them with your hand. The hotel receptionists may help you get them too. It takes just 15 minutes to reach the Faculty of Economics from the city center.

From the Airport:

The bus will take you to the city center where you need to look for the appropriate connections as explained above:

By metro:
Take line 3 (red) at the airport and stop at Facultats. Then take bus no.29 towards Tarongers.
Take line 3 or 5 and stop at Xativa. Then take bus no.40 towards Tarongers.

You could get a taxi from the airport. It costs approximately 30 euros and it takes no more than 30 minutes to Tarongers campus.
