MRI of the Musculo-Skeletal System, the comprehensive course

This course is the module on musculoskeletal MRI of the Erasmus program. The Erasmus program has been organizing interactive MR teaching courses throughout Europe since 1991. Erasmus students who have successfully completed all modules will receive the Erasmus MR diploma (see for further information or www.emricourse.org)

This musculoskeletal course is also endorsed by the European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology (ESSR) and is part of the ESSR diploma (for further information see www.ESSR.org).

Credits: ESSR diploma (2), CME (31), Sociedad española de Radiología (SERAM, 40 CREDITS)

Objectives

After participating in this course consisting of formal lectures, discussion generated by the students and teachers, and case oriented interactive teaching sessions, the participant will be able to:

1.      Cooperate with physicist and technicians in optimising clinical MR protocols

2.      Effectively select patients who will benefit from MR

3.      Perform and analyze clinical musculoskeletal MR studies

There will also be an opportunity to submit your own case for discussion.

 

Who should attend

Radiologists, residents in radiology, physicians requesting and using musculoskeletal MR in their clinical work. A basic knowledge of MR is required.
